WONDERS IN THE JUNGLE OF OUR MOTHER CULTURE: CATEMACO & LOS TUXTLAS

We will go back more than 3000 years in time, the "Olmec Culture" will receive us in the vestiges of its first city, Tres Zapotes, where everything is born in Mesoamerica, which we will tour with the support of a local guide.

Then the center of Santiago Tuxtla, for some time the capital of the Marquisate of the Valley, wait for us with its majestic Colossal Head, the largest one found so far, and there we will also visit the Tuxtleco museum.

In Catemaco and aboard a boat we will take a boat ride on Catemaco Lake, where you can observe the rich flora and fauna, the famous Monkey Islands and The Heron Island, in a setting of green mountains.

Later we will arrive at the Nanciyaga Ecological Reserve, where with the support of a guide we will know the biodiversity that exists in the area, you can also admire the beautiful lake and drink fresh mineral water.

This is one of the most popular attractions in Veracruz, where there will be fun and a wide variety of natural landscapes to explore.
